Indispensable extras for astrophotography

A telescope and mount are the foundation, but the details in the rest of the setup often determine the results. In this category you will find the components needed to get your system working and keep image quality stable during changing conditions.

• Adapters & Extension Rings: Crucial for achieving the correct distance between your corrector and the camera sensor (backfocus). Without the proper rings, you will get distorted stars in the corners.

• Focus Motors: This allows you to focus through the computer. This prevents you from touching the telescope and causing vibration, which is essential for sharp shots.

• Filters & Holders: For suppressing artificial light or isolating specific gases in nebulae. With a filter wheel, you change between filters without disconnecting the camera.
