Skywatchers Flattener
Stars sharp to the edge
The Skywatchers Flattener 0.9× corrects curvature in the field of view of your Evolux-82ED telescope. Without correction, stars at the edge of your image can be stretched and out of focus. With this flattener, all your stars remain bright and sharp from center to edge.

Faster shooting, shorter exposure
The reducer function of 0.9× makes your telescope “faster.” This means you need shorter exposure times and take pictures faster. You thus capture more detail in less time.

Easy to mount and rotate
You place the flattener between telescope and camera. The M56 telescope connection and M48 camera connection make it quick and simple. The flattener is rotating, so you can rotate your camera or accessories without losing focus.
Perfectly corrected field of view
The flattener has two FMC-coated lenses and delivers a 36-mm corrected field of view. This ensures sharp, clear images on APS-C and full-frame sensors. Filters up to 2 inches fit it easily.
Robust and lightweight
The flattener is made of aluminum and weighs only 910 grams. It feels sturdy and fits easily into your setup. So you'll integrate it into your astrophotography without a problem.
