Skywatchers Flattener 150
Keep your stars sharp to the edge
The Skywatchers Flattener 150 corrects curvature in the field of view of your telescope. Without this correction, stars are stretched and out of focus toward the edge. With this flattener, your images remain sharp, clear and true to nature, even with large sensors.

Perfect for fast astrophotography
For telescopes with a short focal ratio, such as f/5 to f/7, you see the effect of image field distortion most strongly. The reducer/flattener makes your Esprit 150 faster and optimal for photography, so stars are sharp to the edge of your image.

Easy to assemble
You place the flattener between your telescope and camera. It has an M48 threaded connection with 55 mm backfocus, ideal for DSLR cameras with suitable bayonet adapter. Remove the adapter and you can use an M71 × 1 threaded connection with up to 75 mm backfocus for homemade adapters.
Fast and fully corrected shots
The flattener has three lenses and a reduction factor of 0.77×. This makes your Esprit Apo faster, up to f/5.4. It generates a fully corrected image circle of 36 mm, perfect for APS-C and full-frame cameras.
Robust and lightweight
The housing is aluminum and the lenses have FMC coating. It supports filters up to 2 inches and weighs only 910 grams. Thus, it is sturdy, light and easy to use so you can focus on the perfect shot.
