Upgrade your mount to a smart GoTo system
The Skywatcher NEQ-5 Pro SynScan Kit turns your EQ-5 mount into a full-fledged GoTo device. Simply select a planet, star or deep-sky object via the LCD screen. The telescope automatically moves to the chosen object. Even as a beginner, you can immediately explore the sky without any hassle.

Extensive database and own favorites
The manual contains more than 42,900 objects, including complete Messier, NGC and IC catalogs. Save up to 25 custom positions to quickly retrieve your discoveries. This way you always have your favorite objects at hand.

Fast and precise tracking
With an accuracy of 1 arc minute, virtually any object is instantly in focus. The motors rotate at up to 3.4° per second, making waiting a thing of the past. PEC software corrects mechanical errors, giving you a stable and sharp image, even in astrophotography.

Flexible speeds and automatic adjustments
Tracking speed is adjustable to 0.25x, 0.50x, 0.75x or 1x. Correction speeds range from 2x to 800x. So you can observe quietly or adjust quickly, depending on your preference. Initial alignment can be done with 1, 2 or 3 stars. Three stars gives the highest precision.

Easy installation and future-proof
The kit includes RA and DEC motors, SynScan hand controls, cables, tools and new motor covers. Software updates are possible via the Internet. A PC connection is provided for additional functions.

Note
This kit does not include a mount. You need a 12V power supply with at least 2 amps of current.
