Transform your mount into a GoTo system
The Skywatcher HEQ-5 Pro SynScan Kit turns your HEQ-5 mount into a full-fledged GoTo device. Simply select a planet, star or deep-sky object via the LCD screen. The telescope automatically moves to your choice. Even beginners can explore the night sky instantly.

Large database and personal favorites
The manual contains more than 42,900 objects, including complete Messier, NGC and IC catalogs. You can save up to 25 positions to always find your own discoveries. So you have all your favorite objects right at hand.

Fast and accurate tracking
With an accuracy of 1 arc minute, almost any object is instantly in focus. The motors rotate at up to 3.4° per second, so you never have to wait long. PEC software corrects mechanical errors for a stable and sharp image, ideal for astrophotography.

Flexible speeds and automatic adjustments
Tracking speed is adjustable to 0.25x, 0.50x, 0.75x or 1x. Correction rates run from 2x to 800x. You can observe quietly or adjust quickly, depending on your desire. Initial alignment can be done with 1, 2 or 3 stars. Three stars gives the highest precision.

Easy installation and future-proof
The kit includes RA and DEC motors, SynScan hand controls, cables, tools and new motor covers. Software updates are possible via the Internet. A PC connection is provided for additional functions.

Note
This kit does not include a mount. You need a 12V power supply with at least 2 amps of current.
