Omegon Pro UHC Nebula Filter 1.25″ is a powerful tool for deep-sky observers who want to see more detail in nebulae, especially under polluted skies. UHC stands for Ultra High Contrast - and that's exactly what you get. This narrow-band filter lets only specific wavelengths through (especially OIII and H-beta), while almost completely suppressing distracting city light.

This selective transmission turns the sky background deep black, while emission nebulae light up with more structure and contrast. You will discover details in nebulae that are barely visible without the filter - think filaments in the Veil Nebula or the edges of the Lagoon Nebula. This filter also provides extra contrast for dark locations.

The filter fits any 1.25″ eyepiece and is suitable for telescopes from about 100 mm aperture. Thanks to high-quality coating technology, reflection is minimized and the image remains color-neutral in the transmitted bands.
