The power bank uses LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) technology, which is considerably safer and more durable than conventional lithium-ion or lead-acid batteries. This type of battery provides a stable voltage of 12V, even under prolonged use or low temperatures, and retains its capacity for years without noticeable degradation.

Unlike traditional lead-acid batteries, the Omegon Pro Powerbank 48k much lighter, maintenance-free and contains no toxic metals. The risk of overheating or ignition is also drastically lower than with standard lithium-ion cells.

With a capacity of 154 Wh (13 Ah @12V) this version is ideal for medium to large mounts, including GoTo systems, without sagging in tension. Thanks to the 12V cigarette lighter output (max. 13A) you can connect virtually any mount or accessory directly.
