Celestron Luminos 23 mm Eyepiece 2″ is a wide-angle eyepiece that gives you an impressive panoramic view of the night sky. The wide 82-degree field of view makes it easy to view large deep-sky objects in their entirety and navigate star fields comfortably.
The fully multi-coated optics and six-lens design ensure high light transmission and high-contrast images. The adjustable eyecup offers flexibility so that spectacle wearers can also observe effortlessly. The sturdy aluminum body is anodized and polished, making this eyepiece robust and scratch-resistant.
Like all eyepieces in the Luminos series, this model is parfocal. So you can easily switch between different focal lengths without having to refocus each time, making your observing sessions more fluid and efficient.
Application
This 23 mm wide-angle eyepiece allows you to see large objects such as the Andromeda Nebula in full view. Star clusters such as the Hyades or the Double Cluster in Perseus are beautifully displayed in context. This eyepiece is also a valuable addition for exploring vast galaxy fields. The model is suitable for telescopes with a 2″ connection and is especially ideal with medium to large Newtons and refractors.
