Bresser Eyepiece Plössl PL 5mm 1.25″ is a short-focal eyepiece intended for high magnifications in lunar and planetary observations. Thanks to the classic Plössl design with four lens parts, you enjoy a flat field of view, good light transmission and high contrast. This makes the eyepiece ideal for highlighting fine details, such as the shadow of Jupiter's moons or the Cassini separation in Saturn's rings.
The fully coated optics minimize reflections and provide clear, sharp images. With a 1.25″ mount, this eyepiece is compatible with virtually all common telescopes.
Application
The Bresser Eyepiece Plössl PL 5mm 1.25″ is ideally suited for observing details on the moon and planets. For telescopes with apertures from 70 mm, you will get high magnifications out of it that still remain usable under good seeing conditions. Keep in mind that very high magnifications are also sensitive to vibration and atmospheric conditions.
