The William Optics AP 73/430 73 is a lightweight, compact apochromatic refractor. It is ideal for traveling astronomers and astrophotographers. You easily mount it on a lightweight mount such as a Star Adventurer or Star Tracker. Within minutes you are ready to observe or photograph.
Wide-angle images with sharpness to the edge
The 73 mm aperture and 430 mm focal length give a wide, bright image. With an optional flattener, stars remain sharp to the corners. This allows you to capture entire star fields without distortion. You can also take beautiful wide-angle shots of the Moon and use filters to capture the Sun.
Sharp and clean thanks to high-quality lens
The doublet lens provides excellent color correction. Stars and planets appear sharp and without unwanted purple edges. You'll see details that smaller or lower-quality telescopes miss.
Stable and easy to use
Focuser with 1:10 fine adjustment lets you focus accurately. Aluminum tube and sturdy tube rings keep everything stable. Convenient accessories such as a Bahtinov mask and prism clamp make focusing and alignment even easier.
