TS Optics HR Planetary Eyepiece is designed for observers seeking maximum sharpness and contrast in planetary, lunar and deep-sky observations. This series combines high-quality glass with multiple coatings and thoughtful design to minimize distracting reflections and maximize light transmission. The result is a bright, high-contrast image with fine details often lost with standard eyepieces.

Thanks to an eye relief of 16-20 mm, you observe for long periods of time without getting tired. The wide 58°-60° field of view also gives you a natural and spatial view of the sky, making object tracking more enjoyable. The robust metal body with non-slip grip ensures durability and comfort, while the 1.25-inch connection makes the eyepiece compatible with virtually all telescopes - from Newton reflectors to Schmidt-Cassegrains and refractors.

Application
The HR series offers a wide range of focal lengths, so you can always choose the right magnification:

  • 2.5-4 mm: extremely high magnifications for planetary details and double stars (useful only with good seeing and high-quality telescopes).
  • 5-9 mm: ideal for detailed observations of the moon, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, and compact deep-sky objects.
  • 15-25 mm: suitable for broader deep-sky objects such as nebulae, clusters and galaxies.

With these eyepieces you can see, among other things:

  • Cloud bands and storm structures on Jupiter
  • Cassini separation and shadow play in Saturn's rings
  • Polar caps and surface contrasts on Mars
  • Fine relief of craters and mountains on the moon
  • Bright star clusters and nebular structures in deep-sky
