Sky-Watcher Heritage-90 Cass - 3.5″ Maksutov-Cassegrain Virtuoso

The Sky-Watcher Dobson telescope MC 90/1250 Heritage Virtuoso DOB is a compact Maksutov-Cassegrain with a long focal length of 1250 mm. Its slim and lightweight design makes it easy to take with you whether you are observing in the garden, going on vacation or want to set it up quickly for a short observing session.

Despite its small size, the 90 mm aperture delivers a surprisingly clear image. The moon shows clear craters and mountain ranges, and with planets you can see details such as Jupiter's cloud bands, Saturn's rings and Venus' phases. Bright deep-sky objects, such as the Orion Nebula or the Pleiades, also become visible.

The Virtuoso mount offers more than a classic Dobson: once set up, it tracks objects automatically. Thanks to the built-in Freedom Find technology, you can also move the telescope manually without losing alignment. This makes observation intuitive and flexible. The compact table mount is stable and equipped with multiple tracking modes, so you can keep objects in view longer. In addition, the mount is upgradeable with a SynScan AZ GoTo handheld, allowing automatic searching of more than 40,000 objects.

For photography, this model is limited, but the stable mount and L mount allow for easy lunar and panoramic photography. For visual use, it is a complete and versatile telescope in a very portable format.

Application
This telescope is ideal for beginners looking for a compact but serious entry-level telescope. It excels in lunar and planetary observations and its size makes it easy to carry around. For deep-sky objects, it is limited by its smaller aperture, but bright star clusters and nebulae are visible under dark skies.
