Sky-Watcher EQ5 Pro SynScan GoTo

Sky-Watcher EQ5 Pro SynScan GoTo is a lightweight but versatile equatorial mount designed for visual astronomy and the first steps in astrophotography. With a carrying capacity of 10 kg, the EQ5 Pro provides a solid base for medium-sized refractors and Newtons, such as a 150/750 or a 100 mm APO.

The mount is equipped with stepper motors on both axes and the computer-controlled SynScan GoTo System with a database of 42,900 celestial objects. After a simple polar alignment via the integrated polar finder, the mount can find and track objects automatically. Thanks to motorized tracking, the moon, planets and deep-sky objects remain in focus for long periods of time - ideal for longer observations or short photographic sessions.

The EQ5 Pro GoTo supports multiple alignment methods (1-, 2- and 3-star) and features tracking modes for sidereal, lunar and solar tracking. The stable steel tripod and included counterweights create a low-vibration base, which is important for higher magnifications or photography.
