Compact and smart azimuthal mount
The Skywatcher AZ-GTiX is lightweight and easy to carry. It weighs only 2 kg and fits on any standard tripod with 3/8″ thread. Thanks to the built-in WiFi, you control the mount wirelessly with your smartphone or tablet via the free SynScan app. This way, you are quickly ready to observe.
Intuitive GoTo control
The AZ-GTiX is fully computer-controlled. With servo motors, it automatically follows the earth's rotation. Choose from 10,000 objects in the app database and the mount holds the object precisely in your eyepiece. This makes star, planet and Moon viewing easy and fun.
Flexible and powerful
Carrying up to 6 kg on one side or 10 kg total, you mount both a telescope and a camera. The Vixen-style prism rails and included L mount with additional saddle plate ensure maximum versatility. The Dual-Encoder Freedom-Find system lets you move the telescope manually without losing alignment. This allows you to quickly explore large areas of the sky.
Quiet, accurate and easy to use
The mount operates silently thanks to its gear drive. Thanks to the built-in encoders, your image remains stable so you see stars and planets sharply. The short set-up procedure with location, date and time information from the app makes observation easy, even for beginners.
Complete and ready to use immediately
The delivery includes the mount, L-holder, short column and a tripod. Within minutes everything is ready to start visual observations or light astrophotography.
