Omegon solar filter 114m

Omegon solar filter 114m is specially designed for telescopes with a lens aperture of 114 mm, including the Omegon Basic series. This pre-assembled solar filter is ready to use immediately and provides maximum safety when observing the sun. Thanks to the sturdy plastic frame with integrated Baader AstroSolar Safety Film (ND5), you can view sunspots, flare areas and even solar eclipses without risk.

Unlike homemade solutions, you don't have to tinker: this filter simply clips over the front of your telescope. The original Baader film allows only 0.001% of sunlight to pass through and produces a neutral white image, revealing details faithfully. The filter is lightweight, durable and easy to store, so you always have it on hand for education, photography or personal observation.
