Omegon RA Engine - Follow the stars automatically
As soon as an interesting object appears in your telescope, it often slips out of view. With the Omegon RA motor, your telescope automatically follows the movement of the stars. The object always remains in the center of your field of view. You don't have to constantly adjust your steering and can relax and enjoy the starry sky. Show your friends and family the details without anything disappearing from view.
Easy operation, full control
The motor moves the straight-climbing axis exactly in sync with the sidereal time. Use the manual controls provided for fine (2x) or coarser (4x) corrections. As soon as you release the keys, the motor automatically returns to tracking speed. This way you always keep the object in focus and centered.

The first steps to astrophotography
Manual tracking is often too inaccurate for photography. This RA motor makes it easy to capture the Moon, craters and planets. Use a digital camera or astronomical webcam to take your first astrophotos. This motor allows you to do longer exposures without blurring stars or planets.
Important to know
This motor only fits Omegon N126/920 EQ-3 and N150/750 EQ-4 telescopes from 2015 year of manufacture.
