Omegon ProDob N 406/1850 telescope - See stars and galaxies like never before
The Omegon ProDob N 406/1850 brings the night sky to life. With a huge 406 mm mirror, it captures four times more light than an 8-inch telescope. So the Whirlpool Nebula, globular clusters and even colors in the Orion Nebula appear razor sharp. Details that smaller telescopes miss now become visible. This is the ultimate experience for every deep-sky enthusiast and planet lover. A true telescope for life.
Superior sharpness and clarity
The 94% “Enhanced Coating” of the main mirror delivers ultra-bright images. Faint stars and nebulae are clearly distinguishable. The 2″ Crayford focuser lets you effortlessly focus 1.25″ or 2″ eyepieces. You easily keep objects in your field of view, even at high magnifications.

Smooth movements with Deluxe friction system
Thanks to needle bearings in the azimuth and ball bearings in the elevation, you move the telescope smoothly. You track stars and planets precisely with just one finger. Aluminum dials let you adjust the friction to your preference. Even with heavy eyepieces, the balance remains perfect.
New carbon gitter tube system
The telescope is stable and resistant to deformation. The V-shaped carbon rods are durable and remain pleasant on cold nights. As a result, you combine robustness with comfort and a modern, professional design.
Cool faster, observe faster
The built-in 12V main mirror fan cools the mirror up to 50% faster. So you achieve optimal image quality faster without long waiting times.

Easy assembly and transportation
Despite its size, the Omegon ProDob 406/1850 is easy to set up. The construction consists of three parts that you set up in minutes without tools. Thanks to its smart design, you can easily transport it in your car.
Optimal mirror support
The main mirror rests on an 18-point mirror cell with triangular, movable elements. This ensures even placement and perfect images in any position.
