Omegon ProDob N 254/1250 Telescope - More comfort, more control while observing
The Omegon N 254/1250 Dobson ProDob DOB II with Radiant finder is made for relaxed and prolonged observing. Once you find an object, follow it effortlessly. Even at higher magnifications, the image remains calm and stable. So you can keep watching without constantly correcting.
Large aperture, visibly more detail
With an aperture of 254 mm, this telescope captures a lot of light. You notice this immediately. Nebulae become brighter, galaxies show structure and globular clusters dissolve into individual stars. The Moon and planets also show clear details.

Deluxe friction system for smooth tracking
The Dobson mount moves exceptionally smoothly. The azimuth axis rotates on needle bearings and the elevation axis on ball bearings. As a result, you move the telescope smoothly in any direction, even with one finger. Objects stay neatly in focus even at high magnification.
Always well balanced
Are you using a heavy eyepiece? No problem. With the adjustable friction, you easily adjust the center of gravity. The telescope remains stable and does not tilt unexpectedly. That gives confidence while observing.
Clear images thanks to 94% mirror coating
The main mirror has a 94% enhanced coating. This provides more light and better contrast. Deep-sky objects become more visible, including at the edge of the image.

Faster ready to use
The built-in 12V fan cools the main mirror up to 50% faster. Thus, the telescope reaches its optimal image quality faster. Less waiting, faster enjoyment.
Accurate focusing
The 2″ Crayford focuser with 1:10 reduction makes focusing smooth and precise. Small adjustments are controlled so your image stays sharp. You use both 2″ and 1.25″ eyepieces without fuss.
The Dobson advantage
This telescope consists of only two parts and is up and running in minutes. No complicated alignment or electronics. Just point and watch. Ideal for beginners who want to see immediate results.
