The 33 cm Omegon mounting rod makes it easy to mount your telescope, spotting scope or camera on a GP profile mount. You place your instrument quickly and securely, without additional adapters or complicated mounting. Within seconds, everything is stable in place.

Quick assembly, easy transport
Place your tube in the GP profile of your mount and tighten the clamping screw. Done. For transport, you remove it again just as easily. This will save you time and effort, especially if you often travel to different locations.

Flexible and universal
The rod is compatible with many popular mounts, including NEQ-3, EQ-4/5/6, HEQ-5, Celestron and Vixen. With drill holes at both ends and ¼” photo thread in the center, you mount almost any optical instrument. You have complete control over the position and balance of your tube.

Lightweight but sturdy
The mounting bar is made of a single piece of anodized aluminum. Thanks to its milled-out underside, it is light yet stable. The aluminum provides solid support without adding extra weight, important in mobile use.

Perfect fit and ease of use
Straight top edges and precisely milled holes ensure that the rod fits snugly to tube or pipe clamps. The large holes fit M6 or ¼” screws. So you can quickly install the rod and firmly secure your setup.
