Omegon Flexible dew cap 5 inch (145-165mm)

A bright Jupiter that suddenly fades to a blur: condensation is almost always the culprit. The Omegon flexible dew cap 5 inch prevents dew from forming on the corrector plate or lens of your telescope, keeping your image clear when temperatures drop and humidity rises.

The dew hood is made of lightweight and flexible plastic and has a velvety black inner lining. This inner lining limits stray light and slows the cooling of the optics, reducing condensation. Thanks to the adjustable Velcro closure, you attach the hood securely around the telescope tube without shifting it while observing. After use, roll it up compactly for easy storage.

This 5-inch version is for 5-inch telescopes only and corresponding tube diameters. It is not suitable for 6-inch models.
