Omegon Flexible Dew Cap 6 inch (200-220mm)

A fogged telescope lens can abruptly end a perfect starry night. The Omegon flexible dew cap 6 inch prevents condensation on the corrector plate or lens when the temperature drops and humidity increases. This keeps your image clear and stable, even during longer observation sessions.

The inside is finished with black velvet, which suppresses stray light and slows the cooling of the optics. This gives dew less of a chance to form. The exterior is made of flexible plastic, making the dew hood easy to roll up and store compactly. With the adjustable Velcro closure, you attach it securely around the telescope tube without shifting during use.

This 6-inch version is for 6-inch telescopes only with a corresponding outer diameter. It is not suitable for 8-inch systems.
