Omegon Dust Caps - Keep your large telescope clean and ready to use
Dust, dirt and moisture can affect the optics of your telescope. This 12″ dust cover neatly seals the tube. This keeps the inside clean and your image clear when you go back to observing. Simply cover and your telescope is instantly protected.

Suitable for commonly used 12″ telescopes
The hood fits several large Omegon telescopes, such as the Pro Astrograph 304/1200, Advanced X N 304/1500 and ProDob N 304/1500 DOB II. You easily place it over the tube. It stays firmly in place, but is quickly removed when you want to observe.

Extra grip for comfortable use
The sides have ridges for extra grip. This helps especially on cold nights or when wearing gloves. The plastic hood feels sturdy and can withstand daily use and transportation.

Adjustable for a perfect fit
Each telescope tube is slightly different. You can lightly sand the ridges on the side to make the hood fit best. In the winter, it sits a little tighter, which actually helps keep everything sealed properly.
