The Omegon Camera veLOX 678 C Color is a compact and powerful astro camera with the latest Sony IMX678 sensor. This sensor is highly sensitive and high resolution, ideal for razor-sharp shots of planets, the Moon and the Sun (only with an appropriate solar filter). Thanks to the USB 3.0 connection, this camera achieves high frame rates, making lucky imaging easy: stacking short shots and revealing details lost with one long shot.

The IMX678 sensor offers broad sensitivity, including in red and near infrared, and combines this with low noise. This makes it suitable for planetary photography and also for use as an autoguider. Via the built-in ST4 port, the camera can directly correct your mount for error-free long exposures.

The lightweight aluminum body fits directly into a 1.25″ focuser and is effortlessly recognized by recording and guiding software such as SharpCap, PHD2 and N.I.N.A. via ASCOM or INDI.
