The Omegon 110/660 Pro APO is a bright ED refractor with premium double-glass optics designed for astrophotographers who demand maximum sharpness, contrast and stability. With a 110 mm aperture and only 4.8 kg weight, this apochromatic is powerful yet portable - ideal for mobile setups, observatories or as a widefield system with full-frame cameras.

✓ FPL-53 and S-NBM51 ED glass for color error-free images
✓ Carbon tube: light, thermally stable and durable
✓ 2.7″ Power Linear Crayford focuser with 1:10 micro fine adjustment
✓ Fully 360° rotatable - perfect for framing and framing rotation
✓ Suitable for visual as well as photographic use with heavy camera setups
✓ Supplied with aluminum transport case and adapters
This double-lens apochromatic uses advanced ED glass (FPL-53 + S-NBM51) normally used only in fluorescence microscopes. The result? Pinpoint stars, zero chromatic aberration and exceptional contrast - from Saturn's rings to subtle nebular structures.
The fast f/6 focal ratio combined with 110 mm aperture makes it an ideal system for deep-sky widefield photography. Think: the Veil Nebula, Andromeda, Rosette Nebula and more - even at full-frame.

Application and use
This telescope excels in:
- ✓ Astrophotography of deep-sky objects with full-frame cameras
- ✓ Visual observation with razor-sharp constellations
- ✓ Observations of moon, planets and nature (also in daylight with reversing prism)
- ✗ Not suitable for sun observation without special filters
- ✗ Not intended for absolute beginners - this is high-end equipment
The focuser holds up to 10 kg without shift and rotates smoothly without backlash. This allows accurate focusing and perfect image composition even in heavy astrophoto setups with filter wheels and flatteners.
Expert advice
The Omegon 110/660 Pro APO ED is one of the most balanced telescope tubes in its class: visually brilliant, photographically uncompromising. The carbon construction and advanced ED optics ensure razor-sharp results in any conditions - with no focus shift due to temperature. Combine this OTA with an appropriate field flattener or reducer for flat images across the entire sensor.
Notice: this OTA comes without a prism rail. We recommend the Losmandy plate (item 44699) with 4-inch screws (item 64164) for mounting.
