Omegon Ortho Eyepiece 10.5mm - Maximum sharpness for planets and fine details
The Omegon Ocular Ortho 10.5 mm 1.25” is made for one purpose: to show as much detail as possible. This is the eyepiece you grab when sharpness and contrast are more important than a large field of view. Perfect for planets, the Moon and close double stars. You'll see more structure, more contrast and more calmness in the image.
Why orthoscopic works so well
This eyepiece uses only four lenses. That sounds simple, and that is exactly its strength. Less glass means less light loss and fewer distortions. The result is a bright, high-contrast image in which details are immediately apparent. Cloud bands on Jupiter become clearer. Fine structures on Mars stand out. Double stars separate just that little bit easier.

Sharp from center to edge
With this eyepiece, the image remains sharp not only in the center, but also toward the edge. This ensures a calm and natural image, without distortions. What you see feels correct and stable. Ideal when observing for longer periods of time and really want to focus on details.
More contrast through multicoating
All lenses are fully multicoated. This reduces reflections and increases contrast. Black areas remain dark. Bright details remain clear. So you get the most out of every observation, even at high magnifications.

Comfortable viewing even at high magnification
The soft rubber eyecup blocks distracting side light and helps position your eye properly. This makes viewing more pleasant and relaxing. You stay focused on the object more easily, without distractions from ambient light.
Fits virtually any telescope
The 1.25″ connection makes this eyepiece directly compatible with virtually all modern telescopes. The filter thread allows you to easily use accessories such as a moon filter, keeping the image comfortable.
This is the eyepiece you use when you really want to see what your telescope can show.
