Celestron AstroMaster 76/700 Newton EQ

Celestron Telescope N 76/700 Astromaster EQ is a complete beginner's scope that will allow you to take your first steps in astronomy. With an aperture of 76 mm, the telescope captures over a hundred times more light than the naked eye. That means you can see not only countless craters on the moon, but also the rings of Saturn and the four Galilean moons of Jupiter. Under dark sky conditions, even deep-sky objects such as the Orion Nebula and the Andromeda Galaxy are within reach.

Thanks to the LED finder, you can find celestial objects easily, then quickly focus with the desired eyepiece via the 1.25″ focuser. The Newton reflector is mounted on the CG-2 parallactic mount. This allows precise tracking of objects, with flexible axes and adjustment scales. The sturdy tripod with steel legs offers stability and is height adjustable. For those who want more comfort, a tracking motor can be added later.

The telescope is mounted with a standard dovetail and can be set up in minutes, without special tools. This makes this model ideal for beginners who want to learn how to work with a parallactic mount.

Application
This telescope allows you to make detailed observations of the moon and planets. Expect sharp images of lunar craters, the rings of Saturn and the moons of Jupiter. In good conditions and dark skies, you'll also see bright deep-sky objects such as the Orion Nebula and the Andromeda Galaxy. For fainter nebulae and galaxies, the aperture is limited.
