Bresser MC 100/1400 - Compact powerhouse for moon and planets
The Bresser MC 100/1400 is made for those who want to experience the night sky up close without the hassle. This compact Maksutov design offers razor-sharp images of the moon and planets, with a long focal length of 1400 mm providing impressive magnifications. Perfect if you want to start serious observations without lugging around a large and heavy instrument.

Powerful performance in a small size
Thanks to its 100 mm aperture, the telescope captures enough light to reveal fine details - from the shadows on the moon's craters to the bands on Jupiter and Saturn's rings. The closed tube keeps dust and dirt out, so your image remains clear and stable. And because the optics stay well-collimated, you hardly need to do any maintenance.
Ideal for home or on the go
The Bresser MC 100/1400 is compact enough for easy carrying, but powerful enough to amaze you over and over again. Combined with an Amici prism, you can even use it for nature observation or bird watching.
Stable EXOS-1 mount
The sturdy EXOS-1 mount provides a stable base even at higher magnifications. It keeps the telescope perfectly balanced so you can track smoothly without vibrations. The slow-motion control helps you keep objects precisely in focus. Want to track automatically? Then you can easily add a motor on the RA axis later.

User-friendly and expandable
You get everything you need to get started right away: a 26 mm eyepiece, red dot finder and zenith prism. Bresser's Messier series is also expandable - useful if you want to add accessories or a camera later for lunar shots.
What to expect
- Moon: Sharp edges, deep craters and realistic shadows
- Jupiter: Cloud bands and the four largest moons
- Saturn: Rings and subtle color differences
- Bright deep-sky objects: Orion nebula and Andromeda galaxy
