The iOptron Hunter/HEM27 iPolar makes pole alignment faster, easier and more precise than ever. No more fiddling with a traditional pole finder or searching for the pole star. The built-in camera shows you directly on your screen where your mount is pointing - so you're ready to photograph or observe in minutes.

You no longer have to rotate the mount or crawl under the telescope in awkward positions. The iPolar does the thinking for you. Using smart image recognition, it calculates exactly where the celestial pole is, based on date and time. All you have to do is align the two markings with the set screws - done.

Even in light pollution or poor seeing, the iPolar remains reliable. The sensitive CMOS camera picks up faint stars and keeps your alignment sharp, keeping your images stable and tracking errors to a minimum.

Whether you're in the northern or southern hemisphere, the iPolar works anywhere in the world. It even corrects for atmospheric distortion at low latitudes, so you always get an accurate alignment.

You simply connect it via USB - plug and play, no additional drivers required. For Mac users, there is a special app in the Mac App Store. And with the iOptron iPolar Mobile app, you can even work via iPhone or iPad, provided you use the iMate Control Box.
