Optolong L-Pro Clip Canon EOS FF

Optolong Filters L-Pro Clip Canon EOS FF is designed to significantly improve the contrast of deep-sky objects, even from light-polluted areas. By suppressing distracting emissions from sodium and mercury vapor lamps while allowing key emission lines (H-alpha, OIII, NII, H-beta, SII) to pass through, the sky background comes into focus really darker. As a result, nebulae, galaxies and globular clusters become more visible and you can expose up to three times longer without saturating the image.

Unlike narrowband filters such as UHC or CLS, the L-Pro retains the natural color image. This makes this filter ideal for astrophotography of both emission and reflection nebulae, galaxies and clusters. The IBAD (ion beam assisted deposition) coating process provides extreme durability, scratch resistance and stability to temperature changes.

This clip filter inserts directly into the body of Canon EOS full-frame cameras and is suitable for models such as EOS 6D, EOS 5D, EOS 5D II and EOS 5D III. Please note that the filter is not compatible with the EOS 6D II and EOS 5D IV due to mechanical limitations of the mirror.

Application
The Optolong L-Pro Clip Canon EOS FF is ideal for astrophotography in urban or semi-urban areas where light pollution normally takes away detail. Suitable for long exposures of deep-sky objects without unnatural color shifts. Do not use as a solar filter.
