Omegon Pro RC 304/2432 Telescope - Truss Carbon for professional astrophotography
Take your astrophotos to the next level with the Omegon Pro RC 304/2432. This Ritchey-Chrétien truss telescope delivers a large, coma-free field of view. Stars remain round and sharp all the way to the edge of the image. Perfect for observatories and advanced amateurs with large-format CCD cameras.
Hyperbolic mirrors for extreme sharpness
The main and catch mirrors are hyperbolic, not spherical like Schmidt-Cassegrain mirrors. This provides a larger field of view with less distortion. Your stars stay sharp, even at the edges.

Quartz mirrors for stable focus
Quartz mirrors are thermally stable. Focus remains constant even in long exposures. No need for constant adjustment, your photos remain sharp and rich in detail.
Fast thermal balance
The honeycomb structure of the main mirror and open carbon-truss design allow the telescope to cool quickly. Powerful fans reduce tubus seeding and get your optics ready for razor-sharp shots faster.
3″ Linear Crayford focuser
The focuser provides ample space for large sensors up to 60 mm. It is fully rotatable, with reduction to 2″ and 1.25″, including 1:10 fine adjustment and scaling. Your camera sits exactly on the optical axis. This prevents tilt and maintains maximum sharpness.

Carbon truss with open gitter design
The system is light, rigid and thermally stable. The open design prevents microclimates inside the tube and provides optimal ventilation. Perfect for long exposures and professional astrophotography.
Better than an SC telescope
No corrector plate means no internal reflections and brighter images. RC telescopes adjust faster to ambient temperature and deliver superior contrast. Sharpness to the edge is guaranteed.
What we recommend
✓ Deep-sky: large, coma-free image - ideal for galaxies and nebulae
✓ Astrophotography: suitable for large CCD and DSLR sensors
✓ Moon & Planets: less suitable for large field
✗ Sun: not suitable without filters
✗ Beginners: not recommended
