Omegon Pro RC 250/2000 Telescope - ultimate astrophotos without compromise
The Omegon Pro RC 250/2000 is a Ritchey-Chrétien telescope designed for advanced astrophotographers. You'll see round, razor-sharp stars right to the edge of your image. Plug in your camera and start shooting right away. No corrector required.
Sharp and large field of view
The hyperbolic main and catch mirrors deliver an extremely sharp image. Stars remain round and bright, even all the way to the edge. Less distortion means less post-processing and more fun while shooting.

Focus that remains
The mirrors are made of quartz. They hardly expand with temperature changes. Focus shift is minimal, even at long exposures. Thus, your image remains consistently sharp throughout the night.
Fast to temperature
The open design of the tube allows air to circulate freely. The telescope cools faster. Less turbulence, more sharp detail. Optionally, you can use a fan for even faster cooling.
Solid and high contrast
The carbon tubus keeps everything stable. Focus shift is lower than aluminum. Dark backgrounds stay dark. Faint stars and nebulae stand out. Ideal for deep space photography and large format astrophotography.

Large 3″ focuser for large sensors
The Linear Crayford focuser with ball bearings accommodates large cameras. The hybrid system combines light movement with high stability. You can fully rotate and precisely align the focuser. With the built-in reduction and 1:10 fine adjustment, you will find exactly the right focus.
Better than SC telescopes
There is no front corrector plate. That means brighter images and no internal reflections. RC telescopes are the best corrected two-mirror telescopes on the market. Sharpness remains impressive from the center to the edge of your image.
Affordable professional quality
Hyperbolic mirrors were once only available to large research institutions. Now even the experienced hobby astronomer can enjoy this technology.
What we recommend
✓ Moon: excellent - craters and mountains sharply visible
✓ Planets: very detailed - cloud bands and rings bright
✓ Deep-sky: excellent - nebulae and galaxies sharp to the edge
✓ Astrophotography: perfectly suited - large sensors, coma-free stars
✗ Earth observation: not suitable - design purely for the stars
