Wide view, relaxed observation
The Sky-Watcher 38 mm PanaView eyepiece gives you a large, calm view of the sky. With its wide 70° viewing angle, you see a lot at once. That makes it ideal for large nebulae, open star clusters and all the deep-sky objects you like to view in one smooth motion. Your image remains clear and stable even at low magnification, allowing you to see details that would otherwise disappear.

Comfort that makes you look longer
The large lens immediately feels comfortable. You will see through the eyepiece without difficulty, even if you wear glasses. The eye relief of 28 mm gives you space, keeping your eyes relaxed. The pivoting eyecup helps you keep out ambient light, keeping your image nice and dark.
Quiet contrast, clear image
The eyepiece uses multiple lens elements to retain as much light as possible. This keeps your image bright and even. The multi-coating keeps light from spilling out, keeping stars clean and sharp. Blackened lens edges and internal finishes reduce reflections. As a result, your image remains calm even when moving through bright or rich star fields.
Solid, flexible and ready to use
The aluminum body feels solid and the rubberized grip gives you control even with cold hands. The eyepiece is homofocal, so when you switch between other PanaView models you hardly need to refocus. The 2″ connection makes it ideal for telescopes with a wide focuser and gives you a brighter, wider view than a standard 1.25″ eyepiece.
