Omegon CS-Mount Front Piece with IR-cut Filter

Omegon CS-Mount Front Piece with IR-cut Filter is a replacement front piece for various CMOS astro cameras. This part replaces the existing front piece of your camera and offers two important improvements: a CS-Mount connection and an integrated IR-cut filter.

Many astro cameras come standard with a C-Mount connection, suitable for wide-angle lenses. However, these lenses often require a CS-Mount to focus. With this front piece, you shorten the flange distance and can finally use CS-Mount wide-angle lenses as well.

In addition, an IR-cut filter is integrated into the front piece. This filter blocks infrared light, providing sharper and more contrasty images, especially when using refractors and wide-angle lenses.
