Omegon Flexible dew cap 8 inch (235-255mm)

Even on clear nights, dew can interfere with your observing session. Especially on larger telescopes with a wide corrector plate or lens, condensation often forms faster than you expect. The Omegon flexible dew cap 8 inch effectively prevents this and keeps your optics dew-free longer, so you can continue to observe without interruptions.

The interior is lined with black velvet, which reduces reflections and slows the cooling of the optics. This gives condensation less of a chance to form. The flexible plastic outer layer makes the dew hood lightweight and easy to roll up for transport or storage. Thanks to the adjustable Velcro closure, the hood sits securely around the telescope tube without shifting during use.

This 8-inch version is intended for 8-inch telescopes only with a corresponding outer diameter. It is not suitable for 9.25″ or 10″ systems.
