It corrects the curvature of the field of view so that stars are not stretched or distorted. This is especially important with fast refractors (f\/5-f\/7) and large cameras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.telescoop.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-34272\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You easily mount the flattener between your telescope and camera. For best results, place the camera about 55 mm from the back of the flattener. This keeps your image sharp, clear and well exposed across the entire field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Flat GT is suitable for the <strong>WO GranTurismo 71 &amp; 81<\/strong>. It has an M63 telescope connector and M48 camera connector. Its compact 22 mm length keeps your setup light and stable.
