With the iOptron HEQ5 iPolar<\/strong> you'll never have to struggle with a manual pole finder again. This smart electronic pole finder with built-in camera helps you align quickly, comfortably and with extreme precision - directly through your laptop screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"iOptron<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

You see on your screen exactly where the northern celestial pole is and where your mount is aimed. With small adjustments via the adjustment screws you bring the alignment perfectly in balance. It can be that simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The iPolar automatically calculates the exact position of the celestial pole based on date and time. As a result, you don't have to rely on the naked eye or the Pole Star. Even when the mount is still rough, its high sensitivity ensures accurate alignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even in poorer visibility or without a clear view of the Pole Star, the system works reliably. And yes - also in the southern hemisphere, correcting even atmospheric refraction at low latitudes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you use Apple devices? No problem. The iPolar works with a dedicated macOS app (available in the Mac App Store) and with iOS via the \u201ciOptron iPolar Mobile\u201d app. iOS does require the iMate Astronomy Control Box to connect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note that each iPolar is specifically designed for one type of mount. Thus, this version is only suitable for the iOptron HEQ5<\/strong>. Always check your model before ordering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
