The iOptron SkyHunter EQ\/AZ<\/strong> is a compact and versatile mount that lets you track quickly and accurately. Lightweight and easy to carry, it is ideal for travel or observation in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Portability and flexibility<\/strong>
With a load capacity of up to 5 kg<\/strong> it can safely carry small apochromats and telescopes such as William Optics RedCat or Sky-Watcher Evolux. You can use it directly or mount it on a tripod for added stability. The built-in battery gives hours of use, and external power is easy to connect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intuitive operation<\/strong>
Control the mount via your smartphone or tablet with iOS or Android. ASCOM and INDI are supported. With the built-in adapters, you control it via iOptron Commander or Sky Safari. This allows you to accurately track stars, planets and the moon in both the northern and southern hemispheres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accurate tracking with iPolar<\/strong>
The iPolar camera makes polar alignment easy and precise. Servo motors with encoders keep objects in focus. Four tracking modes keep your image stable, even during long exposures. This keeps stars pointed and bright.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
