The Skywatcher Mount WAVE-100i Strainwave GoTo Wi-Fi<\/strong> is an advanced, extremely compact mount with harmonic drive. Thanks to the Strainwave transmission<\/strong> this mount delivers an exceptional combination of precision, carrying capacity (up to 10 kg) and mobility. Ideal for astrophotographers who want maximum performance in a portable design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The harmonic gearbox system<\/strong> offers high torque with minimal backlash and a smooth tracking mechanism. Compared to classic worm gears, backlash is almost negligible, resulting in perfect tracking, essential for long exposures and accurate positioning. The WAVE-100i works both in equatorial (EQ)<\/strong> as alt-azimutale (AZ)<\/strong> mode, making it suitable for both astrophotography and visual observation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The belt drive stepper motors<\/strong> ensure quiet, stable movements and a maximum speed of 2400\u00d7 (10\u00b0\/sec). The compact design with integrated RA brake function<\/strong> Makes installation of counterweights easy and prevents inadvertent rotation when power is off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is operated wirelessly via WiFi or Bluetooth<\/strong> with the Skywatcher SynScan PRO app<\/strong>, available for iOS, Android and Windows. The mount is also compatible with popular software such as Stellarium, SkySafari, Cartes du Ciel, ASCOM<\/strong> and INDI<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A clever addition is the red illuminated latitude indicator and spirit level<\/strong>, which greatly simplifies nighttime alignment. Thanks to the dual-fit Losmandy\/Vixen dovetail clamp<\/strong> the WAVE-100i is compatible with virtually any mid-range telescopic tube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
