The Skywatcher Mount WAVE-150i Strainwave GoTo Wi-Fi<\/strong> is a powerful, extremely compact mount designed for mobile astrophotography and precise tracking. Thanks to the modern harmonic Strainwave transmission<\/strong> this mount delivers an exceptional carrying capacity of 15 kg at a total weight of only 5.8 kg - a remarkable weight-to-load ratio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The innovative Strainwave transmission<\/strong> combines minimal backlash, high rigidity and smooth tracking. This makes the WAVE-150i ideal for astrophotographers who want to travel without sacrificing precision. Unlike traditional worm gear systems, the harmonic transmission provides direct drive with virtually no backlash, allowing for extremely stable tracking of objects - even at long exposure times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mount supports both Equatorial (EQ)<\/strong> as Alt-Azimuth (AZ)<\/strong> tracking modes, allowing you to flexibly switch between deep-sky astrophotography and visual observation. The belt-driven stepper motors<\/strong> with harmonic gearboxes (RA 17-100 and DEC 14-100) guarantee smooth movements with a maximum speed of 2400\u00d7 (10\u00b0\/sec).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The connectivity<\/strong> is completely future-oriented: the WAVE-150i can be controlled via WiFi or Bluetooth with the SynScan PRO app<\/strong> for iOS, Android and Windows, as well as through popular software such as Stellarium, SkySafari, Cartes du Ciel, ASCOM<\/strong> or INDI<\/strong>. For those who prefer to work with a hand controller, the mount is compatible with the optional SynScan handset<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The smart design includes convenient features such as a RA brake function<\/strong> with power off, home position and limit detection<\/strong> on both axes, a red illuminated latitude indicator<\/strong> and an integrated spirit level<\/strong> for fast and accurate setup. Thanks to the dual-fit Losmandy\/Vixen dovetail clamp<\/strong> the mount is compatible with virtually all common telescope tubes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The WAVE-150i comes in a sturdy transport case and is compatible with most tripods with standard 3\/8\u2033 connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
