Tuned to a central wavelength of 500.7 nm (OIII line), the filter compensates for the light cone shift that occurs at telescopes with an aperture ratio of up to f\/2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a result, the filter achieves maximum transmission of oxygen emissions in planetary nebulae, supernova remnants and emission nebulae, while drastically reducing light pollution and background noise.
