The filter reduces sunlight to safe and precise levels, allowing you to capture sharp, high-contrast images of sunspots, faculae and the edge of the solar disk with a camera or smartphone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unlike standard visual sunscreens, the <strong>BDSF version (Baader Digital Solar Filter).<\/strong> designed with a lower transmission, optimized for camera sensors. This prevents overexposure and allows short shutter speeds without loss of sharpness. The filter film is based on Baader's renowned <strong>AstroSolar Safety Film<\/strong>, but with a modified density for digital sensors.
