The filter (UHC = Ultra High Contrast) blocks interfering emissions from artificial light, such as from sodium and mercury lamps, while allowing the main emission lines of deep-sky objects - H-beta, OIII and partial H-alpha - to pass through well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The result is greatly enhanced contrast and a darker sky background, making nebulae, star clusters and galaxy structures clearly more visible. Under moderate to strong light pollution, you can observe much more detail with this filter than without it. Well-known objects such as the Orion Nebula, the Veil Nebula or the Lagoon Nebula show more structure and brightness, even with medium-sized telescopes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to its 1.25\u2033 mount, this filter is compatible with virtually all standard eyepieces and accessories.
