The Sky-Watcher Dobson telescope N 254\/1200 Skyliner FlexTube BD DOB<\/strong> combines great light output with a clever folding design. With its 254 mm aperture and f\/4.7 focal ratio, you get a telescope that shows great detail on both planets and deep-sky objects, yet remains easily transportable thanks to its patented FlexTube construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 10-inch mirror captures over 56% more light than an 8-inch Dobson. This means that you no longer see globular clusters as faint balls of fog, but when conditions are right, they dissolve into countless individual stars. Nebulae show structures and shapes that remain hidden with smaller telescopes. With planets, you see fine details, such as the Cassini separation in Saturn's rings or Jupiter's cloud bands and moons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The telescope features a smooth-running 2\u201d Crayford focuser with 1.25\u201d adapter and T2 connection. This makes focusing easy and, with the right adapter, you can also attach a DSLR camera. The sturdy rocker box keeps the tube stable while you intuitively track objects with light pushes. Thanks to the three sliding rods, you fold the tube for transport and slide it out again on location to a fully collimated telescope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application<\/strong>
This telescope is ideal for advanced amateurs who want to observe the moon and planets as well as deep-sky objects. It is less suitable for astrophotography, but offers a complete experience visually. Its collapsible design makes it easy to handle and take to dark locations despite its 10-inch mirror.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
