Thanks to the Flatfield optics and the integrated ED element, this eyepiece offers a true-to-life, high-contrast image without distortions. Objects retain their shape and sharpness even when moved to the edge of the field of view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This 5.5mm eyepiece delivers high magnifications and is particularly suitable for observations of the Moon, planets and small deep-sky objects. The wide field of view of 60\u00b0 provides a spacious feeling and avoids the oppressive \u2018tunnel vision\u2019 often encountered with classic Pl\u00f6ssl eyepieces. Thanks to the multiple optical coatings, stray light is minimized and the image remains clear and rich in contrast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The design with six lens elements ensures not only sharpness but also neutral color reproduction. Viewing comfort is high: with an eye relief of 16 mm, even spectacle wearers can use the full field of view.
