The extremely small pixels of 2.0 \u00b5m deliver detailed images without the use of a Barlow lens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Compared to its predecessor, the ASI178MC, the ASI678MC has significantly lower readout noise, no amplifier glow (amp glow), and higher sensitivity in the infrared spectrum.
