The filter blocks visible light and allows only infrared radiation with longer wavelengths to pass through. This significantly reduces the influence of atmospheric turbulence - ideal for planetary photography under less than ideal conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When do you use this filter?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For moon and planet shots with a <strong>monochrome camera<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Especially suitable for <strong>Mars, Jupiter and Saturn<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Works well in poor seeing because infrared is less affected by air vibrations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note that this filter is <strong>not intended for visual observation<\/strong>.
