The ZWO PE160 Pier Extension<\/strong> is a sturdy, lightweight 160-mm-high extension column designed for use with the ZWO AM5 and AM3 harmonic mounts<\/strong> in combination with the ZWO TC40 tripod<\/strong>. This extension provides additional height, giving your telescope more freedom of movement and greatly reducing the risk of collision with the tripod.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Especially with shorter refractors or larger tubes, a pier extension is not a luxury but a necessity. The PE160 gives you more flexibility in your setup, for example when you want to get closer to the zenith at low viewing angles without restrictions. The aluminum design is robust and fully compatible with the ZWO system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the simple threaded attachment, you place the pier between the mount and the tripod without additional adapters. This extension is essential for those who want to keep their rig stable, functional and flexible while shooting or observing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
