With a single eyepiece, this gives you three different magnifications - ideal for beginners who want to expand their viewing capabilities without buying a full set of eyepieces right away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to visual observations, this Barlow is also suitable for simple planetary photography with webcams or planetary cameras. Without a Barlow, planets are often small and lacking in detail. With a 3x Barlow, Jupiter, Saturn and Mars are brought into focus large enough to reveal cloud bands, rings and polar caps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lens is composed of achromatic double optics that reduce color errors and keep images sharp. All glass surfaces have a green multicoating that reduces reflections and increases clarity. The housing is made entirely of metal, giving the lens a sturdy and durable appearance.
